Description

The EAP Senior Counselor, Management Consultant provides ongoing and crisis intervention focused on the emotional, social, vocational, educational, health-related, developmental, and organizational concerns that impact daily lives.

The EAP Senior Counselor, Management Consultant work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The EAP Senior Counselor, Management Consultant addresses a wide range of issues including problems in daily living, psychiatric crisis, and violent situations.

Requires expertise and specialized knowledge in substance abuse, domestic abuse, grief counseling, workplace problems, and management consultation.

Begins to influence department's strategy.

Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Master's level degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other applicable field

Applicable State licensure in field of study, licensed for independent clinical practice, (LPC, LCSW, PhD, LMFT)

Five to ten years or more of work experience in EAP field

Excellent verbal, communication, interpersonal skills

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.
