This Position is for a Social Worker with a work location in Jackson, MS.

As a Social Worker, working at the outpatient clinic, you will help patients and their families cope with the effects of kidney disease.

Life on dialysis can be a difficult transition for many patients and you\'ll be there to support and advocate for them. In this vital role, you will help patients understand their rights and responsibilities, and guide them in managing the physical, mental, emotional and financial demands of End Stage Renal Disease.

Schedule & Hours:  Monday-Friday (8:00 am -- 5:00 pm)

Requirements:

Master\'s degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in clinical practice.

Licensed or registered in the state of practice as required by state regulations.

DaVita requires teammates to comply with Federal and State requirements related to vaccination against Covid-19. This includes being up to date with vaccinations or having a qualified exemption. For teammates who work to support in-patient treatments in hospital or healthcare systems, there may be additional booster requirements prior to providing patient care services.

Basic Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days.

Preferred:

Two years of experience as a social worker in a healthcare setting.

Demonstrated knowledge of government and private insurance programs.
