WE are HIRING new graduates! Flexible schedule and a three-day workweek (3 day 32 hrs) offered now at our Residential Substance Abuse Treatment facilities. Position covers two facilities one in Pawtucket and one in Johnston. The Wilson House and The Jellison House are the facility names. There are 16 men living at each site all in different stages of recovery from Addiction and co-occurring disorders. Both programs provide longer term residential services, including but not limited to Counseling, Psychoeducational groups, exercise, yoga, meditation and mindfulness, life skills, medication management, etc.
We are seeking empathetic, caring, and energetic RN’s /LPN to deliver the best care possible to adults in various stages of recovery from addiction and mental illness. RN will assess and monitor for signs and symptoms of addiction and or MH changes as well as the medical needs of clients. Provide telephone crisis intervention to client experiencing behavioral health issues, and conduct assessments. Responsible for assisting clients to access medications needed for continued improvement in recovery status. Nurse will also educate clients on the effects of medication. Collaborate with ASU team, Emergency services and other health care providers and families to provide comprehensive services. Evaluation of clients for hospitalization in crisis and this includes implementing a plan for safety as well as facilitating voluntary and involuntary hospitalization when necessary. There is also opportunity to teach and facilitate daily groups.
The Wilson House and Jellison House operate from an evidenced based curriculum and from trauma informed care practice model. This model works to realize the widespread impact of trauma, recognize signs/symptoms of trauma, respond to trauma with knowledge, and seeks to resist re-traumatization.
Education/Licensing Requirements: Seeking LPN's, ADNs or BSN’s. RI RN licensure required. New graduates encouraged to apply
